Terms of Service

By booking a grooming service with The Pawsh Groom Room (“we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to the following terms:

1. Appointments & Deposits

All services are by appointment only. A $40 deposit is required at the time of booking and will be forfeited if you cancel or reschedule with less than 48 hours’ notice, or if you do not show up. Repeated no-shows may require full prepayment to schedule future appointments.

2. Payments & Fees

Full payment is due at pickup. We accept Cash, Credit/Debit, and Venmo. A 3% processing fee may apply to credit/debit card payments. A $20 late pickup fee will be charged for every 30 minutes after notification that your pet is ready.

3. Pricing & Estimates

Service prices are based on dog size, breed, coat condition, matting, behavior, and grooming complexity. Additional charges may apply for specialty cuts, difficult behavior, or severely matted coats. Final pricing may not be known until the grooming session is in progress.

4. Health, Safety & Behavior

Dogs must be in good health and free of illness or parasites at the time of their appointment. We may refuse service or pause the grooming process if your dog shows signs of illness or excessive stress. You are responsible for informing us of any known health issues or history of aggression. Muzzles may be used when necessary for safety, with a $10 fee.

5. Matting & Grooming Disclaimers

Matting is painful and will be removed in the most humane way possible, often requiring shaving. We are not responsible for skin irritation or injury caused by matting or pre-existing conditions. Additional fees ($5–$50) will apply based on severity.

6. Elderly, Pregnant, or In-Heat Dogs

Grooming services for elderly or pregnant dogs are provided at the owner’s risk. Dogs in heat will not be accepted. If grooming poses any health or safety risk, services may be paused or stopped, and payment will be required for services rendered.

7. Media Release

By using our services, you grant The Pawsh Groom Room permission to photograph or record your dog for use in marketing, social media, or promotional content unless you notify us otherwise in writing before your appointment.

8. SMS Messaging & Consent

By providing your phone number, you agree to receive SMS notifications from us, including appointment confirmations, reminders, and occasional promotional messages. Standard messaging rates may apply. You may opt out anytime by replying STOP.

9. Limitation of Liability

While we make every effort to ensure a safe and stress-free grooming experience, grooming involves certain inherent risks. You agree to hold The Pawsh Groom Room and its staff harmless for any injury, illness, or adverse outcome that may occur during or after grooming services.
